لارو کنه‌ی Allothrombium triticium Zhang فقط به عنوان انگل خارجی شته‌ها گزارش شده است. در طی بررسی فون کنه‌های خانواده‌ی Trombidiidae ترکیه، لاروهای این کنه به عنوان انگل خارجی لاروهای کفشدوزکAdalia bipunctata (Linnaeus) از آنکارا جمع‌آوری شد.
